I feel like a lot of guys only like me when I’m a challenge. If eventually I do like them back and I start acting like it, they freak out and flee. Not because I’m so clingy, I mean, like the instant I act straightforward interested, they’re suddenly gone AND basically hate me. It’s confusing and immensely hurtful, and ultimately a form of gaslighting.

I think the bottom line is some people not only like to pursue, but are really only interested in the pursuit. Like, they need a Rules girl because they need to feel like they can never quite relax and just have love.

That seems really sad but not my problem!!
